Students enrolled in this course are required to take a placement test in the first week of classes to determine whether they may proceed with the class, and if so, in which stream. This course offers a self-contained introduction to differential and integral calculus. The topics include: elementary functions, limits, differentiation of the elementary functions, product, quotient and chain rules, applications of differentiation, antiderivatives and definite integrals, and the technique of integration by substitution.
