Students
Ashley Coe Undergraduate Student Ashley is a Wildlife Ecology major, and joined the group in Fall 2007. She is working with Dr. Hiebeler and Dr. Drummond on a simulation model of invading Asian woodwasps. |
James Daniels
Undergraduate Student James is a Math major with a background in computer science, and joined the group in Spring 2008. James is working on developing some general computer code in support of several of the projects for now, and will then be transitioning toward working on the actual models as well. |
Isaac Michaud Undergraduate Student Isaac is a Math major, and joined the group in Summer 2007. Isaac works on just about everything the SPEED Lab does -- the Asian woodwasp model, block disturbances, and household models. |
Nick Millett Undergraduate Student Nick is a Math major, and joined the group in Fall 2007. He has been working on the block-disturbance model. |
Ben Wasserman Undergraduate Student Ben is a Wildlife Ecology and Math double major, and joined the group in Fall 2007, although he has gone off to work with other faculty in biology for now. Ben was also a recipient of a prestigious Udall Scholarship in 2007. We still have a model of populations on heterogeneous landscapes we hope to continue exploring and write up. |
Other undergraduate student members of the group currently in training are:
Tyler Rigazio Undergraduate Student Tyler is a double major in Surveying Engineering Technology and Mathematics, and joined the group at the end of Fall 2007. |
Bryn Nugent Undergraduate Student Bryn is studying Engineering Physics with a minor in Math, and joined the group in Spring 2008. |
